Good evening,

Has anyone been on Roaccutane and if so how long did you leave between coming off of it and starting ttc?

My dermatologist told me one month but I'm not sure if I ought to give it a bit longer?!

Thanks for your advice

xx

I would leave it longer than a month just to be absolutely sure. It would be horrible to have anything affected by the roacctuane. Not a nice drug.

Three months, three at least. Personally I would leave it six. Great for spots, bad for baby...

lipstick girl, I'd go look at the manufacturer's website, my memory is that it said at least six months if not a year or more - certainly the dermatologist who prescribed it to me made me get a depo shot as well to make sure I wouldn't conceive within a year of taking it. It's very very bad news for babies.
