Stupid question re pregnancy tests - cheap vs expensive

So I was dithering in Boots today over Boots test for 4 quid versus Cleeablue for 8.50.

I bought the expensive one because I felt I would "trust" it more: am I a mug?

Is there any difference between them really? Is it just the brand name?

I meant Clearblue, obviously.

I don't think there is a difference, i got my bfp with a test from pound saver's.

And no you are not a mug, good luck if you are trying.

Thanks arena. Who knew they did pg tests at poundsavers!!

i dont think there is any difference to be honest.
you are paying for the name imo
however having said that, i have bought, in the past, the really expensive digital one, and then ones for a quid from poundland, not much difference really.
hth xx

I bought packs of 3 for £1 from poundland while TTC. Never trusted the BFNs
