Does anyone have any faith in early preg tests, the ones which claim to work 4 days before AF due?? Anyone used them and got the right result?

I think they only work if you're pregnant tbh. They can cause a lot of stress and anxiety if you are not but desperately want to be. My advice would always be to try and wait until your period is late...

Why a rip off. Did it tell you you weren't pregnant when you were?

I used one of the first response ones that said use up to 6 days before your period due. Convinced it would be mega sensitive. Weeed on it 4 days before period due. BFN.
Anyway, did another one 5 days later( diff brand. forget which now) when AF one day late. BFP!!! Conclusion: they are an expensive waste of money. Wait till you are late.

you need to read the small print, if they are around 45 % accurate, they are 55 % Inaccurate

better, IMHO< to wait until the day your expect your period give or take , and test then with a cheap and cheerful test, rather than a £15 digital one

if you are pregnant, you are pregnant, and testing earlier or later won;t alter that

but you can get false negatives especially with early tests , which leads to wasted money and lots of upset and confusion

rip off due to the price - what are they 10 or 15 quid a test?
ebay you can get 10 tests for £2.50 - they measure 10 mIU so are v sensitive

if you are going to test early go for the cheap option

I need to be at least a week late to get a +ve with a standard high st test

I did a clueblue digital test, 4 days before my period was due got a bfn, than thought i would wait until i have missed my period.

Bought a test for £1 for the shop and got a bfp.

I have used them and they are accurate BUT I would advise against doing an early test bec I got a positive, got really excited, then had a bleeding/cramps which was a chemical pregnancy. If I hadn't done the early test, I would never have known I was pregnant & would have avoided the upset.
