A Boy or A Girl

Just wondering......has anyone tried any of the theories about concieveing a boy or a girl?

You know the whole having sex a week before you ovulate for a girl or eating certain foods for a boy etc....

Really interested as there is so much talk of the web and I just can't believe its true! Someone prove me wrong!

I think there maybe something in this. I know a few people who have conceived a boy after having sex at the time of ovulation, they were not trying for a boy just maximising the chance of a pregnancy. The theory about the difference in the longevity and strength of the X/Y sperm does sound plausable.

Have you got a gender preferance for a DC?

ummmmm I have a preference for just 1 more pregnancy!My husband would love 1 of each and would be keen for 3 if we had 2 boys.

I always think these things happen for a reason but yes it would be nice to have 1 of each, just as long as they are healthy etc.
