8 day period - does this mean ovulation will be later than CD14 days?

8th day of period was very very light but still there so...am due to ovulate on Thurs and given that I only finished for good yesterday, I'm thinking its a bit close...am wonder if its poss that ov will be later? My period was late this month too - CD30 rather than CD28 so am wondering if am having a later ovulation than I thought?

Not much EWCM post DS although I do have pains and slight colour on around ov time

Bumping for you Puss as I'd be interested in the answer. I've gone from 4 day to 7/8 days, though still 29 day cycle, and am presuming ovulation is also later than mid-cycle?

I think it would be as it would take time for the hormones to build up to release the egg iyswim?

Maybe I should name change to Cod and then I'll get a ton of answers!

I don't think it necessarily follows that if your periods are longer you ovulate later.

I think it depends more on the length of your cycle.

So if your cycle is now longer than it was perhaps you are ovulating later than you thought.

But you don't always ovulate right in the middle of your cycle - a lot of people do, but I think every women is different.

Tis probably best to look for signs that you are ovulating
