I've just tested with a cheapo one that supposedly picks up 10mg/l of LSH (wrong units I know) - result is BFP.

Do I assume now that it's over for another month, or is it possible that the test won't have picked up a pregnancy yet (I'm on CD23)?

Aaargh - conceived first time last time - no such luck this time.

They are a swizz! With both my pgs I didn't get a BPF til after my period was due, even with First Response etc. Give it a week and try again, good luck

Think it is possible but depends on how long it takes for implantation so could still be too early. I am on CD 20 and have just done a test but of course I too have just had a BFN. When will I learn ?

If you mean a negative result then no, you can't rely on it being accurate until at least the time you would expect your period. The levels often take a little while to build up. Test again in a few days with a first morning urine.

A positive is a positive at any time, but sometimes if done very early becomes negative after a couple of days, the implantation obviously was not working that time.

It's a total swizz.

If you read the packet it says you can test 6 days before your missed period. Which apparently (from the example on the enclosed leaflet) means the day after your period was due.
Then they count inclusively, which makes matters worse.
Their example says that if your period is due on day 21 you can test on day 17 and you might get an accurate result (but then you might not).
That is the equivalent of testing on 10dpo (which most people would say is 4 days (not 6) before their period is due).

The packet is misleading, which is bad enough, but ideally you should wait until you are due - or maybe the day before if you can't wait - and then you should get an accurate result.

they are jut a way to make money!! but it still doesnt stop yoou buying them just in case - i fall for it everytime! Im still getting negatives and im now 4 days late - i have no idea what is going on
