Hello all,
Been a lurker for a while reading threads and learning lots. This is 1st cycle of TTC #1. I ovulated 6 days ago (so 8 more days til I can test- Nargh!) and since then I have been having this funny stitch like sensation on my lower left hand side (kind of like ovulation pain but not quite). It isn't as painful as a stitch but it definitely feels peculiar. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Its probably all in my head as I am so excited about this so trying very hard not to get my hopes up!

Hi Thandeka, I ovulated 8 days ago, and have had a mild stich like feeling on and off all day today, I am TTC#2 and was pregnant back in May, but sadly MC, but I do remember feeling it then too. Here's hoping it's because we are pregnant .
Have you had any other early symptoms?
Best of luck x

Thandeka · 21/09/2008 10:29

Hi Vicky,
Really sorry to hear about the MC, Lets keep our fingers thoroughly crossed for this month. Extensive googling reveals it could be
a) An early indicator of pregnancy
b) absolutely nothing and just you being hypersensitive to every little thing your body does!

So that helps! Bah.

I do have slightly sore boobs but again I think this is me reading too much into it.
I really hate the two week wait!
Keep me posted.

Will do, I think I am just being over sensitve to these symptoms because I want them so much!

Thandeka · 24/09/2008 11:58

Balls I felt really really nauseous this morning and yesterday I was sensitive to smell so I was convinced I'm pregnant so I took a test (10DPO) so still too early to tell! I will try my best to leave it til next Tuesday (AF due Monday).

Nargh I hate this stress.

Hi Ladies

I experienced the stitch like pain with my last pregnancy. Sadly it ended in MMC at 9 weeks but the doctor assure me the pain was not related to the MC.

Im now on cycle 2 TTC #2 so my fingers & toes are crossed for us all. My AF has just finished so i plan lots of BD in the next few weeks.

Good luck

I'm out this month. The witch arrived this morning. Still got that fecking stitch like thing though- hope its not a cyst!

Bah. Fingers crossed for you Vicky.

Lully I'm with you on the lots of BDing plans. Well not WITH you- I mean I dont think we would get very far! haha

Hi Thandeka, got a BFP yesterday, I am really pleased, I just need to get to 12 weeks, then I can relax and start to enjoy it.
Soory AF arrived, go and have a nice glass of wine, then another for me xxxx

Thandeka · 28/09/2008 11:51

That is absolutely BRILLIANT news! Congratulations! Hurrah.

Don't worry I intend to have a bottle on your behalf!

Thankyou, and good luck for next month, sending loads of babydust your way x

Thandeka · 29/09/2008 10:12

When I said a bottle it actually turned into three! Ooops (with a friend and food though and it was over 7 hours!) Feeling rough this morning though- and the BBC are interviewing me this afternoon. Boo.

Me and Mr Thandeka are considering putting baby plans on hold until Christmas as if bd was sucessful bub would be born at wrong time in terms of DH exams next year etc. But we shall see. Have ordered some pre-seed and a fertility nutrition book anyhow!
