Anybody else trying for number 2 while number 1 is still small?

Period due today and just realised that this may be my last one for a while. DS is 5 1/2 months and we're starting again in 14 days' time! Anybody in a similar situation? Both excited and terrified...

If I'd had my way we would have been! We started trying a couple of months ago when DS was about 10 months.

I'm 35 so didn't want to spend too long thinking about what was the best age gap!

We are trying for no 2 and DD is 8 months. I'm still bf (3/4 times a day) and no sign of AF yet so don't think we're going to have any luck for a while. Also, DD took a year to come along so I'm trying not to think about it much at all.

Hello DS is 7 1/2 months and we are TTC but I haven't had AF since that pregnancy, stopped BFing 3 weeks ago. Good luck all!!!

I waited until I went back to work plus a few weeks as that was the beginning of March so ds was almost a year old. Beware what you wish for, I thought we should start trying as I was already 38 and it took 9 months ttc the first time. This time, I got lucky first time and I really couldn't believe it at first when I started feeling weird in a pg way.

There are several people who had babies around the same time as me expecting another at the same time or sooner though!

will be starting again as soon as I can bear the thought - bf'ing has TOTALLY killed libido .

DS 9.5mo now; should really wait until he is a year but might take a while so need to crack on as age is against me

My sis had her 2 DDs 14.5 months apart and SERIOUSLY regretted it (mostly from financial reasons but also PND), if that is any help - I think it was an accident, she wasn't supposed to have the 2nd one so quickly.

Hi all. I am trying for a second. I had a miscarriage on the 10th Sept, so am only waiting for AF to arrive, so that I can try again! I have a DD2yrs so am hoping that I can have another one soon, so the gap is not too big!
