Is it still possible to get pregnant in a cancelled IVF cycle?

My IVF cycle has just been cancelled three days before egg collection because i suddenly got a surge in LH (despite the drugs i was on to stop it). This indicated that i was about to ovulate naturally so they would not be able to time egg collection accurately enough and the chances are they would fail to retrieve the egg. Am sooooo disappointed .

I only had one follicle so the odds of success weren't great but as i have high FSH/low ovarian reserve it seemed worth going for it. Anyway now it has been cancelled we hoped that good old-fashioned sex might give us a chance but does anyone know if it is possible to get pregnant in a cancelled IVF cycle?

Not had IVF but if you are going to ovulate you must stand some chance surely. After all it just takes a sperm, an egg and some luck

I hope it works out for you.
