Hello, I'm a sort-of-newbie; long-time lurker and first-time poster!

I need some company, please! TTC #1, I've been off the Pill for, ooh, all of a week now. I know you're supposed to wait three months for your cycle to get back to normal etc etc but I am SO IMPATIENT!

Please let me vent on this thread so I'm not tempted to drive my poor DH mad with all my obsessiveness...

Hi EC,

You will drive your DH mad (not just to say your own self) if you continue to be obsessive. Ovulation is not an exact science!!.

BTW you do not have to wait three months for your cycle to get back to "normal". The pill leaves your system very quickly after you have taken the last tablet.

I came off the pill in March after 11 years and am now pg. It didn't take too long for the pill to get out of my body - but warned it can make ageing the baby much more difficult if you don't allow your body time to adjust to a normal rhythym.

Thanks everyone! Encouraging news about conceiving, JJ and Chocolate. And I know I mustn't obsess, Attila, and I only wish it were as easy as flicking the obsession switch to "off"!!

Thanks for the link, Chameleon. Will join some of the other TTCers.
