I read somewhere that implantation can take a few days as the bean burrows in deeper.
That would make it possible to have BFP and then to bleed a bit.

I'm not sure but that early I would have thought the HCG ouldn't be detectable for long, especially is you use a less sensitive test.
I bet it would be gone within a week.

When I had an ectopic, it took 4 weeks for my HCG to fall from 3000 to 2.

I think, unfortunately, that the only thing to do is to wait a few days and test.
I don't think the doctor would do anything else.
FWIW, there are women who bleed in pregnancy, even to the point of thinkign they ahve their period.
I really hope this works out for you and that you're ok.
