First AF after stopping mini-pill?

I stopped taking the mini-pill 2 weeks ago & so far no sign of a period. Just wondered how long anyone else who's been on the mini-pill had to wait for their first AF.

After coming off cerazette mini-pill it took 3 weeks before I had a period. I hadn't been on it long though, only 3 months. It seems to vary a lot amongst women. I am now hoping my cycles will be back to their normal 28 day length (had a LOT of bleeding while on cerazette, one of the reasons why I stopped it)

I was on the mini pill and My period was about a week later than normal. Did you get your period whilst on the pill? I did, all the way through taking it, though I know some people don't.

4 weeks for me, pretty much to the day. I had virtually no bleeding on Cerazette and took it for around 2 years.

I hadn't had periods for the last few months which I'm a bit concerned about as I'd been on it for years & never had my periods stop before. Thanks for the replies.

A doctor friend of my OH's told me the other day that doctors can never say to patients on the mini-pill exactly what will happen when they go on or off it because anythiing can happen. When I went to my old doctor to talk about coming off it he seemed very concerned that I had carried on having periods and said I may not be fully protected. I asked my new doctor about it and she said that was rubbish. I think they really can' tell women for sure what should happen because it's pretty unpredictable.

From memory when I went on it the doc said everyone can have different reactions, some have normal bleeding and some have virtually none (and all stages in between).
