second time infertility

Hi, I already have a 3.5 year old daughter who I had to take clomid (not sure of spelling) to concieve.
We are thinking of trying for another baby although I was extreamly sick the first time around. I ended up in hospital for 4 days. I wondered if that is linked to the clomid ?
I also wanted to know how many attempts do you get with the clomid before you have to try somthing else?

Sorry, have DS 2.3 and TTC number two. Not taking anything yet but have been trying for 15 months. I have an app. in November. Hope someone comes along to help you soon.
