I couldnt resist temptation, i did a test and got a BFN been having period pains for last 2/3 days, brown discharge couple days ago, only been trying for the last 2/3 weeks...........so i guess i should expect my monthly visit any day

You are testing far too early...even if you were PG it wouldn't necessarily show up just now. Don't do this to yourself! WAIT until after the 26th before testing again...

way, way, way too early. what you are describing could be iplantation. in which case you need to let your HCG rise before testing.

ok guys thanks, i'm not sure how it all works really, so even if i cenceived say 2 weeks ago, it still wouldnt show yet?

you ovulate, on average, 14d before your period. so if you have a 38d cycle, you are likely to ovulate on CD24. it takes 5-7d for the fertilized egg to reach the womb and implant. it ten takes about 7d for HCG to rise enough to be picked up by a HPT

so it would need to be about 2 weeks then, well, i'll let due date for AF come and see what happens, guess if i prepare myself for a period i wont be too disappointed. thanks for your help!

no worries. this is a good calender for working out fertile times. dont test until the day your period is due, pref wait til its late!
