TTC - can't remember what to do!!

Following my thread re: breastfeeding and ttc - it has occurred to me that I have absolutely no idea how to actively TTC. I have some ovulation tests (the ebay ones!) and vagualy remeber the BD'ing bit....!! I think I am having roughly 28 day cycles.... any help appreciated (all the ttc jargon is making my head whirl!!)

Um, have sex every 2-3 days through your cycle, and maybe a bit more if you see egg white cervical mucus.
Take ante-natal vits with folic acid.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine and fags.
