Can you describe an implanation bleed to me please?

Hi

Due period today and had lots of symptoms leading up but tested 4days and yesterday but got BFN.

This morning thought my period was starting because when i wiped myself after going to the loo there was brownish stuff on the tissue.

Put pad on and been toilet quite a few times since but nothing?

Normally my period just starts red and thats it into full flow.

I have period feelings in my stomach and sorry for getting graphic but when walking I my vagina feels very moist which I keep thinking is blood but theres nothing there???

I do have tests and dont want to waste more so was waiting until tomorrow if my period does not get going.

In the mean time I just wondered if any of you had experience of an implantation bleed? What colour was it and how long it lasts?

I am ttc no.1 too so have not experienced it myself, but it is supposed to be dark brown according to one of my books. It can either be dark brown or light and mucousy.

I tested today too, BFN but I'm going to keep trying. There's always a chance if period hasn't started!

it would be my third child.

you mentioned mucous - thats strange.

yesterday i had some jelly like stuff and then the brownish stuff today.

but yesterday i tested and it was BFN so can things really change that much in 24 hours?

Well I will hold out testing again until tomorrow and hopefully my period wont start.

I have been doing lots of small wee's today and nothing since.

Hello

Just looked up the web on the subject and it said that cramping and lower back ache does not accompany implanation bleeds.

I do have period like cramping feelings so its not looking positive now.

Just read your message on the cramping. It's strange because I had those pains the other day, not OVing and not time for AF, so someone said that you CAN get Implantation pains....

well i guess i will know tomorrow when i test in the morning because i cant go more than an hour in the day without weeing

another thread just told me you need a 3-4 hour gap from last wee to test. never knew that!

Babytime in both my pregnancies I had period pains around the time my period was due. This time I had a pinkish discharge too. I was convinced that I wasn't but both times got bfp! My friend had this too. Maybe you have tested too early?

I had an implanation bleed with both of mine. Both times I thought my period was starting and used necessary protection but then nothing. I had a brownish heavy spotting just the once and then nothing else.
With my first it was a day or 2 earlier than when af due and I got such a faint bfp that I coudln't tell and had to wait about a week before I got a strong pos.
With my second it was the first time I had ov. since my first (so hadn't had a period)
Any more bleeding?

Ok... I am holding on and trying not to whoop with joy because i woke at 5am and resisted testing to just now.

Wee'd in a pot, held FR 6days in it for 5.5 secs (just to make sure) and the neg line came up immediately. Felt sad so held it close to window and squinted and at 1.5m I start noticed more dye appear but oh my god its so faint and its been 20 minutes and you can see it if you look hard.

So it can be an evaporation line because I was so careful nt to flood it and I know it could be an early mc or as I leanrt yesterday a chemical pregnancy.

If it only picked up a bit because the hcg levels are not yet strong enough then surely another test now will be neg. i will have to test again tomorrow.

Also I was due yesterday so surely the levels should be strong enough to read more clearly.

Arrrghhhhhhhh why couldnt it just be line or no line - help me!

well just checked out the peeonastick website and it sounds like my test is neg and its an evaporation line. they say of you have to turn it this way and that next to the light then its a neg and thats what have to do to see it.

time will tell i guess.

My implantation bleed was brown for one day then bright red for a further five days. I'm 37+2 so buggered if I know but don't give up hope just yet

did you have period pains too?

its now more red but still not like a normal period, just a bit on pad and when i wipe
