only tiny bit of EWCM but might I still be ovulating?

So I'm on CD 17, I've had slight twingy sort of pains (i think, could be imagining...) around my left ovary yesterday. My cycles range from 25 to 35 days so a likely time, I think, for ovulation to happen. But I have had only a very little amount of EWCM. When I have fallen PG in the past (and then gone on to have MCs) there has been loads. Does this mean I am not ovulating this month? Would be good to know whether this month is a complete no-goer or not before I start imagining symptoms and then get upset when AF arrives...!

I don't temp, chart or anything like that - just rely on things like cycle days and EWCM. So would be good to understand what my body is saying / doing. Any thoughts?

HI Queenie - Little or no EWCM does not mean you're not ovulating. I too had tons the month that I did conceive (and went on to miscarry). In the months since, I haven't had much EWCM, but I know I am ovulating as I chart, do OPKs and just had a 21day progesterone test at my GP. None of these things are fool proof, but taken together I can be pretty confident that I do ov.

We haven't been lucky enough to conceive yet, and I do sometimes think we were successful that month because of all of the EWCM - but like I said just because you don't have it, doesn't mean you're not ov'ing, and it doesn't mean you won't get PG either! Plenty of people do. Good luck!

Mine varies enormously, from totally absent to absolutely gallons. I've never been able to work out what the factor is that alters it...
