merina questions i cant get answers to

i got the merina inserted about a month or so ago. the first while is painful in fact i passed out whaen i got it in but that is because i never has a baby. i had a period on it already its light but extremely painful its almost as if the merina is cumming down is that normal??? and i could feel the strings b4 the period and now i cant is that normal?? would i no if it fell out any help would be brill thnx

you should still be able to feel your strings,although i can holnestly say i never check mine,I had problems with mine for around the first year,headaches cramps etc but they settled down eventually.
best thing to do would be go to you gp or fpc.
