Leaking milk 8 dpo?

Hi there,
I'm quite new here, but you lot know so much, i'm hoping someone here may have an answer.
I'm ttc #2, 8 dpo & leaking drops of colostrum from both boobs.. I had mild cramps yesterday but just put it down to AF on the way. Could the leaking be a possible implantation sign? I've never heard anything like it so early on so quite doubtful. With DS 18mo I started leaking about 4 months into the PG. I breastfed him for 3 months so stopped producing milk well over a year ago.
Do you think it is unrelated to pregnancy this time? Has it happened to anyone else. Any help appreciated! x

I stopped breastfeeding my DS at 1 week old, I didn't manage it long.

9 months later I got pregnant with DS2.

Before my period was due or I had done a test both my breasts leaked a small amount of milk.

Found out a few days later I was pregnant, but didn't leak again until 26+ weeks.

I have no idea, might be an idea to post it in breast&bottle feeding too because the people really in the know about how/why/when colustrum is produced will more likely see it there.

Hi this happened to me I stopped BF my dd at around 8 month. 1 month later I too started leaking quite a bit although my milk had dried up for around a month.
We were ttc at the time and I am now currently 32 weeks, but I still not sure if this was a pregnancy symptom or just because I had only recently given up BF.

You may not be 8 days post ovulation after all.

This problem can be related to excess levels of prolactin and this can interfere with ovulation. I would talk to the GP about this asap, a blood test may be done. It can be treated with tablets.
