Polyps

Had an ultrasound where they found a polyp. The sonographer would not tell me what this means, or what this means in relation to TTC.

I have to wait a week before the ultrasound tests are back with my Dr, who will be on holiday by then for a fortnight.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Have had one of these - mine was congenital in nature i.e from birth. It was situated at the top of my womb and dangled into the uterine cavity.

Mine was removed via keyhole surgery. They're completely harmless but they can release hormones that can disrupt ovulation (this is why mine was taken out).

HTH, please do not worry yourself unduly.

Thanks Attila, that's reassuring. I don't have any side effects from it so I'm hoping that it is something minor that can be removed easily.
