Just wondering anyone with short luteal phase how long it took you to conceive?
bit of background I’ve got 2 kids very lucky to have conceived first cycle but had a 28 cycle then. Since having implant removed it has been 10 day luteal phase, last month I was taking b6 it pushed my ovulation back 2 days but did have a 12 day luteal phase.
im going to try b6 after ovulation this month. Did anyone try anything different to help conceive with short luteal phase?

Hi OP, are you sure you're ovulating? Only asking because I often have anovulatory cycles (confirmed by blood tests) where I get a peak on a ovulation test but then get my period less than a week later. I found the months I did ovulate I went 10-11 days.

When I conceived my DD, I took agnus castus which helped x

@Janey3090 I think so, I have been tracking and get a positive LH and my BBT spikes. However I’ve found it a bit more pressure so I was just going to look out for my positive lh this month and not track my bbt this month.
oh did it work quicky for you? When in your cycle did you take it? I’ve got some but read a lot of conflicting things about it so wasn’t sure didn’t want it to mess my cycle up too much

I’m a scientist and I researched something similar and found agnus castus. It’s an old remedy but it works and it’s in some pre-pregnancy meds under the name Vitex or chasteberry - good luck!

@StormGazing i am on cycle day 8 is it too late to start it this cycle? I’ve read a lot of conflicting things about it!

I lost our twins at 22 weeks in December 2025 and since then, my luteal phase was anything from 6-9 days. In September, it went to 10 days but I was spitting on day 10.

I found out this cycle that we’re pregnant again so it does happen.

I was just about to start fertility meds (we went private) but before that, I was taking COQ10 and Myo-Inositol. I also had folic acid, vitamin D and C.

Good luck. xxx
