Slowly losing my mind with TTC baby number 3! 20 months in and counting. Anyone who’s struggled to conceive did you manage to fall pregnant naturally after this amount of time? Did you do anything different to help you? Any tips or advice welcome please ❤️

Hi OP. It took me 5 years to fall pregnant with my second baby. I finally got pregnant at 41. Circumstances around it were I had just had a miscarriage the month before and I had been taking pregnacare tablets for about 6 weeks before I conceived. Hope that helps.

I would ask for routine blood tests to check your iron levels and thyroid. B12 is a good one too. Make you are ovulating each month and hitting your fertile window. It’s so frustrating esp when it’s secondary infertility and you don’t know why. Sending baby dust your way!

24 months in to secondary infertility on all the vitamins had an iron transfusion beginning of the year. NHS doctor referred me to the specialist but they’ve declined due to me already having a 2 year old. I’m allowed a blood test which im having this week so hopefully will know more. I feel for you it’s so hard.

Had lots of relevant bloods done, I am ovulating and thyroid is all good too. My ferritin is very low I didn’t know that could cause infertility though?
