Would anyone like to join? We are going to start TTC for baby no.2 this month. I am predicting my ovulation to be around this weekend but I am out of touch with it all a bit now! Would love to find some people TTC at the same time!

@cutepumpkin I need to follow your lead and stop reading about TTC and get back to reading novels… I’m just struggling for the headspace at the moment to let myself drift off!

It is so hard to switch off sometimes though isn’t it!! Can take me a few pages to really get into it, but it does relax me so much as it takes me out of my own head for a while x

Ah I am going to try and push through! I need something to wind down in an evening as I have an awful habit of falling asleep on the sofa if it’s just tv, and then not sleeping at night.

Thrillers tend to have me hooked and constantly wanting to pick up the book back up, so they work well for me! I spoke to my nurse last week who told me I just need to relax but that is so much easier said than done - trying to relax is the hardest thing!!

It really is! Yep I enjoy psychological thrillers, have so many on my to read list!

Bee1725 · 29/10/2026 19:07

well I’m pretty sure I ovulated late while I was away so I’m counting myself out this month, probably a good thing as I just got a promotion at work and it wouldn’t be great timing!
Hope everyone is distracting themselves in another 2ww

january1244 · 30/10/2026 10:22

@Latethirtysmum so very sorry about your Dad, no wonder everything is feeling raw.

@cutepumpkin I love reading also, especially mysteries and thrillers! I have a commute so get through a lot of books

I loved accupuncture when I did it. I had slightly wonky cycles after my miscarriage. I had it weekly for a month, had an awful period, and then was pregnant next cycle. I started a thread on it at the time and loads of people said it had done similar for them. Good luck

january1244 · 30/10/2026 10:24

I did test yesterday as was going out for team drinks. I’m guessing I was 10 dpo, and it was negative. I normally very faintly spot at this point in my cycle and haven’t yet. I’m quite irritable also, and I’m worrying a bit about possibility of peri

Hope you enjoyed going out with the team. I’m out tonight and then Halloween party, I tested this morning BFN. I had some spotting yesterday only once when I wiped and again this morning. A very pale peachy colour, very small amount. So I deffo think period is coming a little early. Had the worst PMS also worse than usual haha!

Ahh that’s so great to hear about the acupuncture, I had my first session last night so I’m hoping it helps 🤞

I’m feeling quite negative about this cycle. I feel like I’m symptom spotting but actually probably just normal cycle symptoms.

I think because with other pregnancies (failed and successful I have generally had positives at 9/10dpo so I am praying I have implanted later if at all. I need to just give my head a wobble.

I wont give my life story but my dad passed away early September and I am praying for some good news. Maybe that’s why I am obsessing so much as I’m trying to distract from grief but actually making myself feel stressed.

I’m going to keep busy today. Do you have any plans for the next few days?

I'm so sorry to hear it, I hope you will be ok xx

I felt really positive up until this morning when I tested! And bfn. This would be 11dpo. With DD I still tested negative at 12 and 13dpo, but gradually I'm feeling like the breast tenderness is going away and the cramps are starting, so expecting af to come

I've just been trying to keep busy, get out every day, and remind myself that we are blessed no matter what. I just hate the feeling of thinking it's going to happen! Why do the hormones have to be the same?!

How are you feeling? 💕

LegoVsFoot · 30/10/2026 11:02

TheGoldSeal · 28/10/2026 13:22

I just read more about this!!
Crazy! Did you have twins??

I've never felt ovulation from both ovaries at the same time it was weird!

I wasn't ttc that month but I had a scan after a chemical and it showed ovulation from both sides :) good luck

Latethirtysmum · 30/10/2026 11:11

That’s the thing isn’t it the symptoms are so similar to before a period. It’s hard not to symptom spot. I’m feeling like AF coming. I also tested this morning and BFN and I’ve had some slight spotting a little yesterday and a little today.

At this point I just want AF to come if it’s threatening to come early.

I have plans this weekend so they’ll be a welcome distraction. Hope you get your BFP 🍀

I know 😞does anyone else know you're ttc? I told two of my closest friends, and we supported each other through ttc all our kids, so even though we don't have long conversations about it, I at least don't feel like I'm totally alone in it

Wishing you all the luck for that bfp and hope you enjoy your weekend plans!! And if it's not to be, let's at least both plan to do something we couldn't do otherwise😂 like get dressed and go out for drinks or do a retinol face mask or something

That’s nice that you have each other for support, this time around I haven’t told anyone.

I like your thinking! Same to you try and have a lovely weekend and hopefully by the end of it maybe a surprise!

Hi everyone. I'm TTC my second, 3 year age gap. Came off the pill in August. Just come on my 3rd period, feeling a bit miffed but accepting it might take a bit longer for things to get back on track. I'm also 38 so age isn't overly on my side! Nice to know I'm not alone on this journey

Hi, Welcome!

Are you planning on tracking ovulation? I’ve come on my period today, my husband is away around ovulation time for me this cycle but I’m going to track it and pray I ovulate a little early as period has come a day or two early - who knows.. also I am nearly 37 so with you on the it may take longer as age factors in. But also I know lots of ladies who have fallen pregnant quite quickly in their 40’s so fingers crossed!!

Wishing you lots of luck!

Ahh I'm sorry af got you - hope you're having a lovely weekend apart from that x

I'm frustrated because my cycles are so long that I am left in limbo for ages. Feel a bit off and moody this morning, pms cramping and just waiting for af to come. Late night last night as well so I'm tired and just over it!

Mood wise I felt very similar yesterday I was so cranky and just wanted AF to come at that point. It’s such a mind game ttc. Hope you’ve managed to have a good weekend! I’ll be letting my hair down tonight haha x

I stopped the pill on 19th August and have been tracking my bbt and ovulation since. I've seemingly ovulated with my bbt supporting it last month but unfortunately with no success. Feel slightly anxious about why but also trying to remember my body is probably still trying to get fully back to "normal"!

Thank you - it was good and busy! Hope your night out was great! x

Tested again today and bfn at 15dpo which should be definitive, but no af and getting cramps, sore boobs, nausea - so no idea wtf is going on. Would love my hormones to stop playing games with me 🙃
