TTC baby #3

I am 44 and I’m trying to conceive baby number 3. I have always struggled to conceive, my first was natural conception after years of trying and my second child was via IVF. I don’t want the stress of conceiving I had with my 2. I just want to take it easy and if it happens great otherwise I’m happy anyway. Any positive stories of people in similar fertility situations ?

Have you had any tests such as amh levels?

No as I’ve already through IVF with my second child and it was not good however I managed to get pregnant with one transfer only and I don’t want to have that stress again. I am 44 and I don’t expect AMH to be good. But thank you for the suggestion ! I appreciate your response 🙏

Good luck to you! The stats are obviously against you but I know at least 3
children conceived naturally at 42 so of course it happens.

im 42 now and if I was ttc I personally would have as many tests as possible as I think I would want to know are we talking a 5% of conceiving or a less than 1%. temperature tracking monitors I think have also come a long way so might be worth looking into to give you the best shot (no pun intended)

Even trying naturally is a rollercoaster as you go into the two week wait so I think would also have a cut off date of when I would stop.

@SussexserpentsThanks for the advice! My approach this round is if it happens great if not I’m ok anyway. I just hate the thought of tracking and monitoring ovulation which stressed me enormously the previous times. It’s more about if we’re lucky great otherwise it’s not meant to be !
