How long did you keep testing after an early positive?

Hey lovely mumsnetters, had a few days of pale blurry lines on my tests this month trying not to get too excited, I think around 10/11 dpo to 12/13 now (my cycles are super irregular so best guess). First time ever so tentatively excited but have read a lot about chemicals and am aware the conception and pregnancy is long and many hurdles to overcome before you end up with a baby in your lap!

So not wanting to get ahead of myself, how many days did you guys test HCG after your first positive before you felt semi confident it was sticking around?

Aware it's one of many steps and there is miscarriage potential for a long while ahead...but provisionally (enough to think about booking a 6-7 week scan)

Congrats! I had a stash of cheapie, online pregnancy tests which I'd use. If I got a positive, I'd check with a branded, FRER type. I can't recall exactly, but I might have checked 2 or 3 days in total to be sure.

I assumed I'd need a GP appointment, but in my area, you self refer to the hospital midwifery team which seems to be common now. Best of luck x
