Is this line dark enough?

Hi,

I'm 13dpo, and with this early response test I would expect a really dark line. What do you think?

Has anyone gone on with a successful pregnancy after a line like this?

Top photo is yesterday at 12dpo. There's less than 24 hours between the pics. I was meant to wait a few more days, but of course, I didn't 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thanks!

It’s noticeably darker on the bottom pic, I’d say that’s decent progress 🙂 as you roughly expect hcg to double every 48 hours it tends to get darker a lot faster after a few days. 1 -> 2 is a lot less dramatic than 16 -> 32.

its visibly pink which is all you can really hope for at this stage

Thank you for commenting!

I hate how excitement immediately turns to anxiety, your message really helped!

25 years ago I rang a pregnancy helpline with a similar question and the lovely woman on the other end just said - a line is a line don't fret about the colour

Thank you! I think I need to stop looking at it now and consider myself pregnant!

I hate to not be able to give you an answer because I know the feeling only too well obsessing over line darkness. But a line is a line. My first miscarraige my line was really light and never got darker it ended early in a chemical pregnancy, my second pregnancy the line was so strong, had 3+ weeks on the digital pregnancy test etc but it still ended in miscarraige. My friend had a really faint line for weeks but had a perfectly healthy pregnancy so its impossible to know. The best way to check is get HCG measured across a couple of days at your GP. Wishing you the best of luck xx

It’s a line

It's definitely a positive but in all my pregnancies the line has been a lot darker than that at 13dpo. I would try to hold on a day or 2 and test again, you should see a darker line.

Thank you! Yes my previous 2 the line has been darker. But thinking its possible I implanted later as I took one at 9dpo and it was stark white negative. I've decided I'm not buying any tests, will see if I make it passed my period not coming then will self refer!
