TTC: First time tracking ovulation using BBT and ovulation tests

Wondering if anyone could put my mind at ease. Currently TTC and I’m tracking for the first time using ovulation sticks and BBT previously have just used apps as a guide and I’ve been pretty good at knowing my cycle, but want to try ovulation tests and BBT.

I’ve been tracking my temp daily at the same time whilst using ovulation tests daily, it seems I ovulate a lot sooner after my period than I thought, but the ovulation test picked up my peak, I noticed my usual change in mucus and we DTD several times over this period across the days, I was confident this was ovulation. I’m continuing to test LH and my LH is lowering now, but my temperature BBT is confusing me. I have not seen a significant peak and sustained high temperature which I’ve read I need to expect to see to know that ovulation has actually happened.

as this is my first time tracking in this way I just want reassurance I suppose, am I worrying unnecessarily re the temp, I’m nervous we’ve missed the boat this time.

It might be worth just doing the tests for now, they are relatively accurate. I found the temp tracking too stressful.
