Anyone had anything like this before??!!

We stopped ttc, it broke us both due to losses. 2.5 weeks ago we dtd after a lovely night of drinking, forgot the protection and thought nothing of it.

Took a test 10 days after that, completely white negative.

Took this test tonight after feeling iffy all weekend. I would like to say thought that I mostly missed the pee strip and it didn't really get much, so I dipped this in the toilet bowl thinking ive already buggered the test, ill just dip it in anyway! 😅 and THIS was my result.

Is it possible that a frer can be this positive and be false? I just can't believe it can be so positive from a toilet bowl dip! 🤣 and I would still be really early, my symptoms only started on Friday and we dtd last 2.5 weeks ago, not since due to work/child etc.

Looks very positive to me! You probably just ovulated after you DTD so it wasn’t showing when you did the test before. Get a digital to confirm

@Peonies12 that's what I thought, it came up immediately, I thought the test was dodgy, then came the control line and I knew it had worked. I'll be going out first thing and getting a digital, as well as doing my other frer.

You probably did pee on it enough for the correct results so the toilet dip wouldn’t have impacted.

@Pippinsquash 😂 the chant was exactly how I read that! I can't, my dh is here and I want to make sure my toilet water/test isn't wrong before he knows but I'll do it in the morning! Thank you 😊

@Vimto1991 I don't think I did, usually you see the pee and dye go across the test, I didn't see that for like 10 seconds so I dipped it, then thought I didn't leave it long enough so gave it 5 more seconds in the bowl and then I saw the dye line go across. Yes! It's deffo darker in person! I'm shocked to say the least! Thank you 😊

If you’ve got another one I’d just test now. It’s very positive but if you have any chemicals in your toilet bowl I’d be paranoid about a false positive from that. Although all things considered I’d be pretty surprised if your next test was negative!

100% pregnant! For a moment I thought it would be negative but 3 seconds after doing the test it instantly came up! Feeling sick as a dog today 😑

Not had a strong positive like this since my DD so I'm hopeful. We will be going for an early scan too, just to make sure everythings OK. Looking at my calendar I must be at least 5 weeks now...how did I not notice?! 😂

I bought a clear blue digital and even that says I'm pregnant too so I'm just about believing it!
