Morning all.
I had a failed IVF round last year. I have an older child (conceived naturally with different partner). I’m early 40s. No pregnancies with new partner despite years of trying.
However, my period is 5 days late. I have very short (24 days) cycles which are regular. I did a test yesterday and it was negative. But I did it at lunchtime after a morning of tea and coffee so urine might have been too diluted. Planning to do another test in 2 days if still no sign.
Most likely explanation is perimenopause and my cycle is iff but I can’t help feeling hopeful…
