Line progression quite slow, thoughts?

Worried my line progression doesn’t look very promising. The bottom two are 17days post ovulation (FMU then afternoon as my afternoon tests tend to be darker).

I know it’s getting darker but I don’t think I’ve ever had a 17dpo test that isn’t even close to matching the control line.

Would love to hear anyone else’s experiences, good or bad. Please no advice to just be patient. This is how I deal with repeated miscarriages in a way that feels right to me.

Have you tried a different brand of test?

I haven’t, no. I took a clear blue early response digital on 13dpo and it said positive, but nothing where I can see how far I am

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I hope I can reassure you. I think those cheapy strip tests are always very faint, even when other tests would show much stronger lines. I would definitely try another brand. Or just be very reassured that the line is progressing perfectly. I would only be worried if it started getting noticeably fainter.
Also even if you have had that same brand before and it’s looked darker at this stage remember 2 things - different batches can be different so it’s more about watching line progression within that batch, and also sometimes you will implant a few days earlier or later even though DPO is the same.

I have dug out photo of my tests which show very faint lines at 17dpo on this type of strip test. Maybe it will help you to see. I have attached, it is pending. I then had blazing positives on other brands which you can also see. Same day, just different types of tests.
That pregnancy was successful and he is now a healthy 5 year old!

Thank you soooo much for taking the time to reply, that’s so reassuring. I’ve never used this brand of test before and to be honest it hadn’t even occurred to me some tests could just be ‘weaker’… it makes complete sense though! I’ll try another brand tomorrow for (hopefully!) peace of mind.

This was my 10, 14 and 16 day progression on these tests. They don’t get particularly dark but I think I would be a bit worried in your situation too. Hopefully a different brand of test will be better, but also I’ve seen loads of people have slow rising hcg and have a healthy pregnancy. It might not mean anything.

I don't have a lot of advice to add but just wanted to say that I've heard these tests don't usually give super bold lines? Unlike ovulation tests they don't have to be as bold as the control and they rarely are..best of luck with this pregnancy, I think I said congratulations on the other thread (if that was you) but congratulations again! 🩷

I was in this exact situation at the beginning of this pregnancy. My first pregnancy the lines were super dark at 14dpo so I thought I was destined for a loss but thankfully everything turned out fine. Even at 21dpo my lines were faint and i stopped testing after thst because i was getting regular blood tests which wete rising. My hcg was on the lower end when I went to hospital to get it checked but rose appropriately and now 18 weeks and all appears to be going well. Can you get your blood hcg levels checked for reassurance? I know how stressful this is. Hoping everything goes well for you !

Thanks so much for all your messages. My EPU aren’t particularly friendly, I’m not sure if they’d agree to a blood test before the scan I have scheduled at 6 weeks. I suppose I could ask.

I did take a clear blue digital how many weeks today and I got 2-3, which is bang on as I think I’m 4+5.

I think these are the same tests. This was mine at 17DPO so a bit darker than yours but my friend bever got dark tests with this brand and had twins
