Hi ladies, hope you are well.

This may well be TMI but I have seen others upload pics too but just put a warning on the thread title incase that’s the best thing!

I’m 7dpo and on cycle 8 of TTC our first baby. DH has had SA done and all come back good, some things very good! Only small issue was his volume was 1.2 when and the drs said 1.5 is what they hope to see but they were not concerned as they said he may well have been dehydrated or missed a bit when collecting etc

Anyway, I’ve symptom spotted for what feels like forever and it’s driven me crazy as I’m sure it has some of you! So this time round, which I’ve never had before, is this cm shown in the photo. Has anyone had this before and gone on to get their positive? I don’t want to get my hopes up as I have in previous cycles with noticing other symptoms but for some reason this has really stood out to me because it has never happened at this point of my cycle. We dtd either side of my ovulation day (I have only been doing opks and not bbt as I’m up at least once/twice a night to wee so I know they can become inaccurate with disturbed sleep) but I have seen very clear rise and falls in my LH levels.

would love to hear from you and sending love to those of you in the same boat 🫶🏻

You might want to put a sensitive sticker on the picture 🤢

How do I do that?

@ttcfirsttime26 if you go to the 3 dots on right hand side of your post there should be an edit feature?

I’ve had a look there and there isn’t any indication of being able to edit or add a sensitivity sticker.

I asked mumsnet to add the sensitivity sticker for me.

to add my other “symptoms” so far other than the above are:

  • incredibly tired the last couple of evenings
  • boobs tender today and can see some greenish veins that I’ve not seen before
  • dull aching across lower abdomen starting this afternoon
  • lower back ache which did move up towards my shoulder blades so this could have been a pulled muscle and completely unrelated or a mix of both!
  • not sure I’d class them as “vivid” dreams but again, last couple of nights I’ve had dreams I have woken up from due to the nature of them and/or remembered them as soon as I woke which is not too typical for me.
  • Headaches
  • Less appetite than usual
  • Getting hot quite easily the last couple of days

Hope to hear from some of you x

Not to be a downer, but I get these symptoms every month, and cervical mucus isn’t really an indicator of whether you’re pregnant in a particular cycle. After ovulation, rising progesterone naturally causes cervical mucus to thicken, regardless of whether conception has occurred.

My advice would be to sit back and wait for a missed period if you can. Symptom spotting is the worst! 😊

Edited

symptom spotting is the worst, for sure! 😆 Just noting things that are mostly brand new to me this cycle though and we have been TTC for 8 cycles. I’ve never had this kind of CM ever before but obviously never want to get my hopes up because month after month it is becoming more devastating to see a negative 😩

I get this every month unfortunately
progesterone rising makes your cm like this before period or pregnancy so it’s really no indicator
