Anyone else in their TWW or currently trying to conceive?

Hi @TTCbaby4Im currently in TTW but I’m not actively trying to conceive. I’ve been having loads of cramping these past few days but I think it’s more down to adeno more than pregnancy sadly. I’ve tested a few times but all negative - probably too early too. How about you?

I don’t know! I’m a bit of both tbh. I’d love to have another and I love being pregnant but I’m also 44 and have 5 already so I don’t know if I could cope with another and I’m finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel where I can leave my kids without them needing me as much. I don’t know if that makes sense! Having said that though, I was gutted when I got BFN so.

Absolutely. I can appreciate that you're torn! Bless you, it's a tough situation. I'm 32 and have 3 already but still don't feel done! I hope you get the preferred result.

I think I'm due about the 31st/1st but my periods have been a bit hit and miss at times as I have PCOS x

Ah so we can find out together! It’s a long wait isn’t it! I too have PCOS too it’s a bummer. My cycles range from 28-35 days x

Yeah mine can range from 18 - 40+ :( but I've been tracking ovulation for a while obviously so, I'm hoping!

What is the TWW?

I was told by my consultant, not more than once a day, get going from day 1, raise my legs for 30 mins. My DH had a low count, pregnant very quickly.

It’s the time between ovulation and your expected period and/or pregnancy test

Oh wow so calculating ovulation must be harder for you!

Ah ok, yes that is painful- sent me crazy. We just kept going, we referred to it as the 30 day shred (a play on the workout trend at the time).

6 pregnancies for 2 DC and I was on the edge of crazy.

Yes, this time I had to wait a month after my last period before I ovulated so it was a long wait and now, the two weeks to wait to test and it's anxiety inducing! Especially knowing if it's negative then I don't know when my window for conception will be again.. :(

The TWW is 'Two week wait' which is the time after ovulation until your period is due, when you can test to see if you're pregnant.

I've tried all of the 'tricks' it doesn't make a difference with someone experiencing fertility issues, unfortunately, I've had three other children, one I fell pregnant with on our first attempt. That's not the same for all pregnancies or all couples, and there's not really any 'magic tricks' that can guarantee conception unfortunately.

It took me 4 years to conceive my first so don’t give up! Your time will come, I’m sure of it x

Me, supposed to be due period Tuesday, but not yet feeling any usual cramping and exhaustion and moodiness which normally I do by now so part of me is a little hopeful we may see two lines this week 😊 but also trying to be realistic and not get my hopes up. It’s month 4 for us so not too long yet, but I’m 37 and we have a few issues so we’re advised it might take longer. Taking a break next month as we have a family wedding last weekend of May that we have to travel for and are involved in, and don’t want to be at risk of giving birth at the ceremony, but will get back on the horse the cycle after, and due to our ages, once we reach 6 months we will go to GP to get things rolling for help. This is our first, so it’s all new, but I find the TWW very very difficult. Sending hope to you all

Another BFN for me today so I think I’m completely out! I hope you all get your BFPs xx

I also got a BFN yesterday but AF yet to arrive …. Sometimes I feel like my body is trolling and teasing me by giving me a late period and negative tests 😢
