unprotected sex 2nd of August it’s the 16th now so don’t even think it’s possible I could get a positive now. But I can see a line much more off camera. Can anyone else see and let me know if this could be an evaporation line. Please don’t worry about disappointing me as I am not trying to conceive and would rather a negative x

It’s been 2 weeks since you had sex so most tests would show a positive by this point. Especially if you ovulated very soon after having sex. It’s possible you didn’t ovulate until 3-5 days after sex so you’d only be about 10dpo now in which case it might not be a strong positive yet. I can’t really see a clear positive in any of the pictures. Perhaps a shadow on one but not what I’d call a clear and definite line. I would wait 4 more days because then you will definitely be at least 14dpo and use a digital test with a sensitivity of 10miu. That should give you a clear answer.

@TrackItthank you. I’m going to leave it a few days before taking another just so I can be certain. I’ve kind of accepted I am likely pregnant, in real life I can see the line and I can see it’s pink tinted but on photos it hasn’t come up very much at all but as I said I wouldn’t be disappointed if I wasn’t pregnant anyway. it’s the sudden exhaustion and dizzy spells that I think confirmed it for me more than the test even did as this is not my first pregnancy and have felt these symptoms before. I will update this thread though just so others trying to conceive can see the progression of the test or if I end up not being pregnant maybe people will not get false hope from faint lines showing. Feel a bit daft having an accidental pregnancy at my age really lol

Just updating anyone who has seen this thread and maybe has a test that looked super faint like mine did last night and is wondering what it means. The first brand I used was called ovum I think and most will recognise this as a clear blue digital. I hope maybe this can help people who are trying to conceive. Less than 24 hours difference in tests and quite a stark difference in results id say. So to anyone who has had a super faint barely can see line don’t count it as negative. I think in reality most faint lines eventually lead to positive if the tests are used correctly. Also though of course evaporation lines exist and perhaps some brands can be worse for that than others. But I have my answer now x
