BFP 4 days 'early'- am I allowed to get hopes up??

Hi, trying to conceive no 2 and couldn't wait to start testing- AF due on Sunday but got a bit excited and tested on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and today (cheapie tests but 4 days early ones) twice a day, morning and night, (yes possibly a little excessive!!!) Anyway, a BFP every time, so that's 8 BFPs, even starting at 6 days to go. Can I get excited???? I still think AF will come and it will all prove unreal. My friend has told me not to get any hopes up Can't I even just get a little bit hopeful??? please?! Could it really be that the tests are telling me I am pregnant??

phew, because I was so overjoyed and amazed (trying for a while) and then I felt a bit flat when my friend said that as she is a scientist and knows all about these scientific things!!

I'm an early tester too and had a BFP 4 days before AF was due with baby #2 - nerve-wracking to wait until AF due date had passed!!
