Trying to conceive with PCOS and long run of near positive ovulation tests

I wondered if anyone can help me or offer advice or understanding.

I have PCOS and take ionisitol, came off my coil to try conceiving in May and have had two good regular cycles with clear ovulation.

this month I am cycle day 21, and have had nearly positive tests for 10 days. Have I maybe missed my peak or I’m struggling to ovulate or I’ve missed the peak?!

Todays test and examples of the rest

Hi there, I was in a similar position to you about 4 years ago - the constant testing, then retesting eventually sent me mad, especially as I could have a number of surges in a month but no real guarantee of ovulating.

In the end, I went to the doctor. In the initial stages,
they gave me metformin, which I know is helpful for many. Before you go too far down the ovulation stick rabbit hole, I’d definitely try and get an appointment with the doctor, just to sensecheck the approach. Best of luck!

For the test to be positive it needs to be as dark or darker than the control line so I would say you haven’t caught in on these tests - that said you may not catch it with PCOS unfortunately . I was in the same position with PCOS, I hardly ever got a peak and it was because I wasn’t actually ovulating each month - funnily enough when we were on the verge of starting treatment I got pregnant 😅 I would go to GP as soon as you can though - if you have PCOS in most areas you can be referred for fertility help after 6 months of trying :) x

I have PCOS and it elevates my LH levels so all my tests were like this! I kept testing til I got a blazing positive (when test line is darker than control). Just ignore the many near positives. I conceived my son like this on day 29 on what would have been a 45 day cycle.

And be hopeful! I’ve conceived 3 times now within 3 (long) cycles — one miscarriage, one son and 24 weeks with number 2 :)
