What were your symptoms

Before a positive test? I genuinely don’t know if I’m pregnant or if I’m about to have the worst period of my life. Woke up with unbearably sore boobs (not something I usually get before my period). My stomach has been bloated for a week now and I’m having cramps daily. I just feel strange. I don’t remember any of this with my dd. My period isn’t due until next Wednesday and I did a test this morning which was negative.

I should probably add I’m almost 40, haven’t been ttc but did have sex twice during my fertile window (based on the flow app)

No symptoms before although I did ‘feel’ pregnant before both positives, sore boobs and cramping in the days after then feeling sick about 2 weeks after that.

Pregnancy symptoms are generally caused by HCG. If a pregnancy test is negative it’s unlikely you have enough HCG in your system to cause symptoms. Especially if you’ve been having symptoms a week already. If your period isn’t due until next week and your symptoms started a week ago you were likely only just ovulating then as most people ovulate 10-16 days before their period.
Progesterone also causes a lot of symptoms but that increases whether you are pregnant or not. So it could just be that.

If you can get some LH strips to check ovulation because the apps just guess. I have regular cycles and my ovulation date can vary slightly between cycles. You want to make sure you're definitely catching your fertile window, good luck!

Honestly? I had no symptoms when I tested positive. A week later and I feel very tired, and have sore boobs. Other than that, nothing!
