1% Morphology TTC

Hello, me and my partner have been TTC for 7 cycles for our second. We already have a 2 year old daughter together. Partner has just had his SA results back all excellent and good apart from morphology which was at 1%. Count was at 164.4 mil and motility was 48%. I had ultrasound and transvaginal scan all look good. Have had progesterone checked which was fine and confirming ovulation. What are the chances of us conceiving naturally without intervention? Thank you so much in advance.

My partner had 2% and we were told it was not an issue if the other numbers were high it's still a lot of healthy sperm to reach the egg :)

Me and DP have had three pregnancies.
1st - surprise - miscarriage
2nd - trying - first month
3rd - currently 8 weeks and it was a surprise!

He had to get tested for another medical reason before trying. Hopefully not long for you now.

So my partner had less than 1% morphology and chance were slime to nil we did a lot of research took very specific supplements and made changes to our lifestyle he had a normal sample after 3 months and after 2 years of ttc I fell pregnant naturally the month I was starting IVF. Some things we did was cut out all alcohol & only one coffee a day ( he drank way too much coffee) cut out as much plastics from our daily lives as possible so switched to a metal lunch box metal
coffee cup etc and also I really really think this video and following what they did helped us

@holly2812 it was my second I had a MC right after we started trying and then didn’t conceive for 2 years he was normal in every other result except the morphology so explained why we weren’t conceiving once we took care of that we fell pregnant she’s 2 now .

Oh i’m sorry to hear about your miscarriage. That’s so lovely i have a 2 year old daughter too ☺️ we were not trying when we fell pregnant she was a complete surprise, i think we probably expected the same to happen again when we first started trying but seems to be taking a little longer due to his morphology so hopefully if we can get that up fingers crossed it won’t take much longer it’s just a lot harder now with a toddler 😂 x

in the same boat exactly!! Ttc number 2 and husband has good parameters apart from 1.5% morphology. His sperm count previously had been low with poor morphology when we conceived our first child which took us 9 cycles (had a chemical pregnancy cycle 4)

in the throws of it again and finding it all quite exhausting and overwhelming, we are going to give it 12 cycles and then we will move onto IVF… I guess what I’m trying to say is we conceived twice with poor morphology and low counts so it CAN be done, hard to remind myself of that though as I feel so hopeless that it’s taking so long 😭 xx
