Hi! So I’m going to try and make this as short as possible but I’m hoping you can help me as I can’t work out what my body is doing right now….

I’m 29, we’re technically “not” trying but have also stopped using all contraception for the last few months (I was never on any, but stopped using condoms). Last month I got my period 3 days early but it was very very light and lasted only 2.5 days, which is unusual for me, I took a test after but negative so assuming it was just an odd cycle.

This month we were on holiday during ovulation (according to apps, I don’t test), and flew a few days before. I’m now 4 days late (17DPO) with weird symptoms for the last few days:

Very full, perky boobs, with occasional shooting pains
Period like cramps for the last 4 days
On and off backache
Extremely tired during the day but can’t sleep at night
Slightly nauseous (but I think this is me looking for it)
High cervix

I took a test yesterday with very diluted urine but I assumed if it was going to be positive this late then it wouldn’t have mattered and it was BFN.

Any ideas? I’m usually regular so both these last months have been odd for me, and I’m scared to take another test in case it’s negative again, I just want my period to start now though if I’m not pregnant.

4 days late why would you dilute the urine? Have you done a pregnancy test properly?

Also, you’ve been having unprotected sex for months, you are TTC.

So as much as you are 4 days late the fact you don't know when you actually ovulated you might not be 4 days late if that makes sense. Your best chance of knowing is first morning pee and not to drink alot before bed so your pee isnt diluted at all. All the signs above can be common aswell.
