Pregnancy Tests

Can anybody shed any light on this for me. I had a miscarriage 9 weeks ago and had my first period on the 4th June (so not due until a week tomorrow). Last Tuesday night I started with period pain and had a little bleeing, then on Wednesday the bleeding subsided and by Thursday everything was back to normal. I did an ovulation test (as I bled mid-cycle) to determine if I was getting a period again or not, but the test showed positive. I've tested again yesterday and the test still said positive (surely to god, you can't ovulate for that amount of time), I thought I'd try pregnancy test too (I got 25 free with the 75 ovulation tests I ordered), anyway the test came out positive also. I tried one of my clear blues that I had from my previous pregnancy and it again showed the two, very visable blue lines. Now I'm thinking I must have something really wrong. There is no way I can be pregnant. My period is still over a week away. Can't help but wonder if I've got something left inside me from having the ERPC nine weeks ago.
Has anything like this happened to anybody before. A pregnancy test won't show positive already surely? Just to note, since getting my first period on the 4th June, my DH and I have been trying again, but just not at all convinced! Any answers will be gratefully received.

did you ever check your hormone levels were down to zero (ie negative pregnancy test) after your EPPC? just wondering as that might shed some light on whether it was a hangover hormone effect.

Short of going to the doctor to discuss (unless any other m/net have bright ideas) , I would wait til next week to see what happens with your period.
