Hi everyone! I need some advice. I have short cycles (usually 21-24 days) and I normally ovulate around CD 11 or 12.
Today I’m on CD 9. My OPK (ovulation test) is still low, but I’m already seeing some watery/EWCM (egg white cervical mucus). I'm expecting my LH peak tomorrow (CD 10) or Thursday (CD 11).
Given my short cycles, I'm terrified of missing the window. Should we BD every single day from today until CD 13 to cover all bases, or is it better to stick to every other day until the positive OPK? What strategy worked for you? Thanks!

Hi! This is my first month trying, currently 1 DPO today, so very early days.

I was tracking my ovulation for a month after coming off of the mirena coil. We didn't really do our research, and did every 3 days (which was a lot for us!). However, when I could see my ovulation chart starting to climb, we increased to every other day.

Apparently the best chances are two days before ovulation. We had the LH surge on 17th (and BD), and BD again on 18th (ovulation day). So we only really tried twice in the fertile window.

Research online says it's more about timing rather than frequency of sex.

I'll keep you updated and let you know how things progress! I did kind of feel like we really stressed ourselves out for a month trying to have sex when OPKs were still low.

Wishing you lots of luck xx

DTD every other day and then you won't need to track, that will take the pressure off. Good luck in your journey
