I’m 45. I have PCOS. I have just had Nexplanon implant removed.
Im TTC #4.
I am on CD10 which is 2dpo for me! I have charted and actually despite having PCOS and limited success with looks in the past, they’ve worked really well for me this month! I also had incredibly intense mittleschmerz the day after my +opk and my temp is rising so I’m pretty sure that I ovulated.
I lost four stones on mounjaro and believe this has really helped my cycle return quickly. I also have taken Black Cohosh up u til ovulation.

so I’m in the TTW. it would be literally unbelievable to think that I managed to conceive first try after the implant… or would it?!?! 🤞🏻🙏🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻
Two of my children required fertility treatment and are clomid babies.

wish me luck? Any older girls symptom spotting in the TTW?!?

Oh wow, this all sounds really positive 🤞🏻 Honestly, the fact you seem to have ovulated properly so soon after implant removal is such a good sign, and losing the weight/improving insulin resistance can make a huge difference with PCOS cycles too. Your body sounds like it’s doing exactly what it needs to do this month.

And plenty of women do conceive immediately after implant removal, so don’t talk yourself out of the possibility just because it feels unlikely.

Really hoping this is your lucky cycle. Keep us updated rooting for you Daffodil

I don’t think it’s the fact she’s just had an implant removed that makes it unlikely she conceived quickly. It’s the fact she’s 45. The majority of 45 year olds do not fall pregnant easily.

Thank you SO much for this reply. I really appreciate it. I know this will probably be a difficult journey and maybe not with the happy ending I’d like but thank you for being so kind. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and will update. Thank you.

Yup. Babies 2 & 3 did not come easy and I was younger then. As the title says, I’m aware I’m against the odds but I’m trying to be hopeful and positive whilst remaining realistic.

I keep telling myself off for even allowing myself to think I might have fallen first time!

good luck to you! It’s so hard to make adjustments to diet and caffeine intake so you’ve already done brilliantly. Is this your first time TTC? it’s so unfair that the journey is so difficult for some. I am blessed to have my kids but the younger two took a long time so I do understand the journey can be a hard one.
I’ll keep everything crossed for you. You’ve got this 🤞🏻☘️❤️
