Still Testing Positive After Chemical

Hi

Not sure what to do here so looking for advice.

Last Monday the 4th had a very faint positive. I had already started spotting on the Saturday but this is usual for me.

On the Tuesday afternoon, I started bleeding heavily until Thursday and then stopped. I then went on holiday on the Friday, and had a period from Saturday to Wednesday

Did another pregnancy test today and it's still positive, but only faint. Can see lines on normal test and sensitive ones.

Obviously it's not viable but I don't know why I'm still positive. Do I need to contact the EPU?

I’m sorry for your loss Flowers

It’s not unusual for hCG to take a while to leave your system. I once tested strong positive for over 5 weeks when I had a mc at 5w5.

That said, I’m not seeing a line, but the test strip seems to be tinged pink, so it’s possible it may be dye bleed in the indent you can see?

Thanks - maybe it's just taking a while but have never experienced this before

Definitely a line, and my husband can see it too. It also is coming up with other brands as well

Will wait until Monday and see if it's faded again, and if not call the EPU
