Hey everyone, hope this is ok - it’s my first time posting!
I take regular pregnancy tests every 3 months or so just as a precaution, as I run my pill back to back, so don’t get periods (endometriosis management). I took one today and am unsure whether the test line is significant enough to indicate pregnancy - I’ve never had a positive test before so am unsure. It’s obviously very faint but it did show up almost automatically when I did the test. I’ll try again tomorrow but any input would be welcome.
Probably worth mentioning that I don’t want to be pregnant! X

Hi OP, have you always used the same tests? It’s faint but it has colour so I’d say most likely you are pregnant. Take a digital one (the new CB early response are good). If you did it today I think it would show positive. Hope everything is ok for you, appreciate this isn’t the position you want to be in right now💐

It's a pretty clear line. I'd definitely get another test.

That’s a pretty clear line. Like pp said, try a different brand and see what that says.

Thanks everyone - I’ll pick up a digital test and do it in the morning to double check.
Although it really isn’t ideal and the last thing I need atm (really busy time for me with work & my studies), it will be ok whatever the result is - I know my options for a termination, and my partner is very supportive and will look after me if I need it.
Thank you again x

Hi everyone, I thought I would update/ask for some moral support here. I went to a scan appointment with an abortion service today - as I’m on contraception that stops my periods and I’ve had some abdominal pain, they needed to see me for a scan. They couldn’t find a pregnancy even though I tested positive on two tests in their clinic.
They’ve advised me to go to EPU within 48 hours to check for an ectopic pregnancy, but they did say the other possible situation is that I’m just too early to see on a scan right now. I guess I’m just feeling overwhelmed as this wasn’t what I expected and it means more appointments & disruption at an already stressful time for me :/ I wondered if anyone else has had a similar situation or any words of support/advice x
