The previous OPs have gotten their BFPs so I have cheekily created this one just hoping that I could get lucky. Hahaha. 😅 Silly, right ?
A bit about me - currently trying to conceive baby No.2 and this is my 4th postpartum cycle.
So I wish everyone good luck and lots of baby dust! 🤞

hi all, been MIA as LO turned one yesterday. Think I should be ovulating in the next 4-5 days and really praying this month is our month

This is our 10th cycle with no BFP yet. I am about 10dpo, had mild cramps but that's normal for me pre period. They seemed to have disappeared now but I'm trying not to read much into it either way. My partner has a sperm analysis later this month which is the first step in our checks as we're quite worried something may be wrong with it being so long..

I’m cycle day 12 today! I usually ovulate around CD 21 but I’ve been getting some fertile CM the past two days! Hoping I don’t ovulate early as DH is away for a week.

Having some hormone tests done now we are properly trying after our twin loss as my luteal phase is very short and have mid-cycle spotting so I just want reassurance that everything is okay.

Hey! Just to say my partner is also waiting for sperm analysis as we have been trying this time around 14 cycles and all my tests normal. Saying that though we do have a 2 year old already, and she took us about 11 cycles so it might just happen suddenly! Hope you get your bfp soon x

Sorry to hear you're also going through the testing but it is for the best especially to rule anything out that's making it harder for us. You are right though it could just be the luck of the dice, and already having a little one is a sign you will likely get there it just might take longer. Neither me or my partner have children and we are both quite anxious people so it's hard not to worry! Best of luck to you too and thank you for your kind words ❤️

This month I felt really strong ovulation pain when last month I didn't. Thought it might mean something but after googling seems it doesn't and pain can vary month to month!

Sorry to hear you're also going through the testing but it is for the best especially to rule anything out that's making it harder for us. You are right though it could just be the luck of the dice, and already having a little one is a sign you will likely get there it just might take longer. Yes, some may say it's not long as it can take longer but it bloody feels long! When we started, for some reason I had it in my mind that it would take us maybe 4/5 months. Not sure why! So now it's double that it really stings. We've timed things well every cycle too which makes me a bit anxious about a possible underlying issue.

How long have you been trying and is it your first too?

Yes you can easily read so much intro twinges and symptoms but in reality the symptoms don't always line up perfectly with what's happening! I have driven myself half mad analysing symptoms so I'm trying to stop now haha. Hopefully you won't have long to wait before your next BFP x

I agree it’s bloody long! Lots of people seem to take 3 cycles so I had that in my head. But the longer it goes on for the harder it is not to worry. How are you testing for ovulation? It’s so hard mentally when you time things well and it still doesn’t work.

I’m 7 months in to TTC number 3, started trying in December. I have PCOS so my cycle is a bit weird at the best of times but it’s gone super long at the moment and I am really not sure if I’m ovulating at all. I think my hormones are all out of sync as the LH test peak and my EWCM seem to happen at different times. I feel I need some hormones to kick my cycle back into gear. If this month doesn’t work I’m off to the GP to get drugs/ tests/ whatever they will give me! Currently CD48 and either 6dpo or yet to ovulate, my app can’t decide 😂😭

Good that they are running tests though and being a bit proactive. What are they testing for? Have they recommended anything to help lengthen your luteal phase?

It has been 13 days since I updated here. Time flies so here I am again at the beginning of 2WW of the 5th cycle of trying for No.2. Today is 1/2 dpo and I am feeling calm and hopeful because I made sure to get all my fertile days covered. 😆
Will either wait until AF arrives or test on 11/12 dpo. Good luck to everyone here!

Yes, hello 🙋🏼‍♀️🙋🏼‍♀️ I’ve been MIA as I’ve started back at work now and we put our house up for sale and had 10 viewings in 2 days 😴

I think they’re going to check gondotrophins and then LH and FSH but I’m not sure yet as it just says this on my NHS app - I haven’t yet spoken with my GP.

I’ve been having mid cycle spotting for 2 days now: I’m a bit concerned as I don’t usually have this!

Argh feeling a bit frustrated this morning. We’re out all day today, so planned to DTD this morning before we went out. DS woke exceptionally early which meant we couldn’t DTD. And now I’ve just got my peak reading this morning on the Clearblue Advanced Fertility Monitor 😩 I know a LH surge usually means ovulation will happen within 24-36 hours, but I’ve also read it can happen 8 hours after the surge is detected. You only test with FMU with the monitor, so my surge could have happened sometime yesterday meaning I could potentially ovulate early today. So frustrating as won’t be able to DTD until at least 10pm tonight. Do you think I’ve missed my best chance this month? We DTD Thursday night so hoping we might be covered from then at least.

@SantiagoSister try not to feel to defeated. Dtd tonight and just hope you ovulate after but id say any deed done 5 days before is a good chance anyway!

Today I'm one day late by my pre mom app. But I reckon premom app got my ovulation date wrong and I'm only 10dpo and I'm due next weds. Im literally in limbo land 🤣

I think I’m 7dpo today or am yet to ovulate. Getting itchy fingers to take a pregnancy test tomorrow but going to try to hold out until 10dpo. Given I’m not sure if I ovulated i don’t want to waste tests. But feeling a bit defeated as have been reading online how long cycles make the uterine lining too thick for implantation to occur anyway 😩

We have been very lucky and had 5 offers, one of which was above asking price so we accepted it!

The spotting has worsened today but is still light pink 🤷🏼‍♀️ I wonder if it’s stress-related but I’m not worrying about it: things will sort out eventually and I feel better that I’ve got some teats at the GP lined up!

How long have you been TTC again? Do you track BBT at all? I’m sure things will be fine.

I read a quote yesterday that said all things meant for you do not pass you by and that helped me when I was having a bit of a bad moment.

Hi - can I jump in and join on this please? This is our first cycle officially “trying” for baby number 2. Our little boy is 6 1/2 so if we are lucky to get pregnant this year we will have a larger age gap. Nervous as I’m 33 this year and feel so much older and more exhausted with life I’m wondering if we are mad starting again 😂!

Hi! I’m in a similar boat, this is our first month trying for No.2 also! Our son is 4 so will also have a fair age gap if we are able to conceive again. Also wondering if we are mad doing it all over again now we are finally getting some sleep again 😂 I’m aware of being older this time round and hoping it won’t cause too many problems with TTC 🤞🏼 wishing you lots of luck for this cycle! Whereabouts in your cycle are you? I’m pretty sure I ovulated today so fingers crossed for heading into the TWW.

Glad you are feeling better now you have the tests booked in. I feel the same, doing something is so much more settling than when you aren’t sure what is going on and are just worrying about it.

I’ve been TTC for 7 months now. I don’t track BBT as my 2 year old is up way too much in the night for it to be accurate i think 😂😭. Just going off body signs and LH tests. Seem to have more EWCM this morning when I’m supposed to be 8dpo so I think I might be gearing up for another attempt at ovulation actually and didnt ovulate 8 days ago 😩 will do an Lh test later to see what that says. This cycle is just so long.

Looks like I’m having a v late ovulation again this month. CD18 and LH dropped down to 0.4 when it was 0.8 a few days ago. It did the same last month and I ovulated 8 days later

According to natural cycles we missed ovulation as it predicted Monday but it happened Tuesday. We made love on Friday and Sunday but doubt that’s enough. No Ewcm this month and no sex drive but the missed miscarriage is so raw I keep thinking it should be my month, while knowing it doesn’t work like that. Taking b12 at the moment but my hormones are super out of whack. I turned 41 last week which makes things feel harder and we ‘wasted’ the May cycle because focussed on recovery.

I'm up a lot at night too so use Apple Watch to temp. It actually told me I was pregnant last time when I was.
