do I try for a baby tonight?

I am TTC a girl (have 2 boys)and i have had sex with DH up until the day before ovulation. Tonight is the end of the 48 hour "ovulation period" - can we have sex or would that ruin the theory that when you are TTC a girl, you have sex up to ovulation and then you stop. ie. can we have sex AFTER ovulation?

Don't you have to do something like a 'vinegar douche' or an alkaline douche or something??

I think when ttc for a girl you need to be 3 days or so before O and same day as O for boy. Theory is girl sperm live longer so can wait around for O and boy sperm are faster so can get to egg quicker. I have 3 girls and 1 m/c in Dec which I don't know sex of yet. I am ttc for boy so waited until right before O (last night) to try. Let's see if it works!!!
