Thanks for both of your kind words too. Hopefully doing it Tuesday night worked. If not then it wasn’t meant to be this month. We never did do it since - due to lambing and generally being busy at the minute, we’re both exhausted. I feel positive about how my cycle has been much stronger and hopefully means things have settled down which will be a good thing moving forward.

he ended up needing 5 stitches, it looks pretty rough tbh but he is ok, he has strong painkillers and was home again by about 2am so actually not bad for our local a&e wait times
yes, into the tww we go. I’m only 1 dpo today at max or possibly a few hrs out from it. I’ve had the usual post ovulation achy pains so deff ovulated either last night/over night and RHR has shot right up from 49 to 69 indicting ovulation has already happened.

hopefully the busyness will keep u distracted for the next 2 weeks 🤞🏽 im really gona try switch off from it and not overthink ever twinge (we will see 😂)

@SKLM are u feeling excited, nervous, and every other emotion for ur first scan? Do u know when it will be?

@DmcinT I don’t have pregnancy tests in the house at the mo. I’m debating with myself whether to buy some in or not. If I do, I think I’ll buy them at the end of this week via Amazon.. so they’d arrive over the weekend. Then test from 8dpo. I don’t think I could physically wait until my af due. I just don’t want to get tests in and start testing ridiculously early. But equally, testing early doesn’t help either so maybe I should wait and not buy any at all and just wait for af to visit or not. Hmmm

@DmcinT you hit the nail on the head, excited nervous and everything else for the first scan! Feeling a bit stressed currently as the pregnancy symptoms I'm getting are quite different to with my first. But I guess every pregnancy is different.

You’re bound to feel slightly stressed. I often hear of people talk about symptom changes depending on the sex of the baby too :) I can’t wait to hear from you after your scan, I’m excited! X

CD17, either about to get my peak or maybe just missed it. Feeling emotional, I'm supposed to be in my ovulation window but not feeling very 'dtd' much, just feel like crying! lol

@Plumchumm ttc is so mentally draining and I feel like there isn’t any fun in dtd during our fertile windows either. At first it was, then the pressure comes ..
I’m sure you’ll be fine with regards to timing. You line is still very strong, even if you had just missed it. They say ovulation happens 24-36hrs after a peak don’t they? so you’ll have time.

I am 7dpo today. No luteal symptoms as of yet. I’m not sure when I’ll test, if at all. It’s my birthday this weekend, not that I’m doing anything .. I imagine it’ll just be busy and probably have family visit. So I don’t want to test around then. So maybe next week. I’m definitely not feeling hopeful this cycle though, as I mentioned before we only dtd at the start of our fertile window and not since. But I guess, it only takes the one successful time.

@PandaLife aw happy birthday for this weekend, I was around 9/10 dpo for my birthday last cycle and testing really messed with my head so I’d deff advise against that 😅 maybe it’s jus me but I just completely over analysed those tests.

im 5 dpo today, this is the first cycle I haven’t been completely consumed by every twinge/ tracking RHR etc.. I think my head has just decided im not pregnant and im looking forward to the break from ttc over the summer. Or maybe the obsession will kick in closer to 10 dpo 😂

Can I hop on this thread please 😀 I was on the last one for a bit but had a month off as it was getting to me a bit! It was lovely to have a break from TTC - we missed my fertile window completely as we were away and sharing a room with our 4 year old so I was able to relax and not think about it.

I'm currently only CD11 but my cycles are short so I should be ovulating this weekend and then I'll be back in the awful tww.

I’ll give ye a laugh, so we’d the whole thing with DH getting back to dtd Saturday night before a&e, im literally 5 or 6 dpo today and DH asked this morning had I done a pregnancy test yet😂 I was like what?? Sure it literally happened 5 days ago, he said ‘is that not enough time to get a positive test’ so maybe that knock on the head was harder than we thought 😅

that ovulation test was my positive (I think I would have had peak just before or just after) as I now have my luteal phase symptoms so I’m officially in the two week wait! 2dpo today x

I’m 9/10 dpo. Last night I was SO uncomfortable in bed, I literally couldn’t rest. I spent more time tossing around than sleeping. I’ve felt a bit moody too. But aside from that, I haven’t had any symptoms. I’m not 100% sure when my af is due because I ovulated earlier than normal this cycle. My predicted ‘possible period day’ on my phone is literally spread over a whole week. So that clearly has no idea either. I could start in a few days or next week according to that. I don’t have any tests in the house. I might buy some on Tuesday once I’ve finished work. I have some LH sticks so I was tempted to pee on one of them and see how strong/faint it is… and maybe if it’s very faint I just wait. Hmm

@PandaLife oh ur so close to testing/knowing 🥰 I just usually go with abt 12/13 days after ovulation for when af is due because it really does all just depend on that rather than total cycle length.

I’m either 7 or 8 dpo, I’ve no symptoms other than normal progesterone kind of things.. temp up and RHR still high but they don’t usually drop until 11/12 dpo so nothing really either way. Not due af until Fri/Sat so just gona try wait until then if I can. Busy week in work too so hoping that’ll be a good distraction

im only 10 dpo yet, maybe 9. My only out of the normal thing to log is I’ve a metal taste in my mouth a few times yesterday and today. Gpt saying it can be from normal progesterone fluctuations thou so 🤷🏼‍♀️

@DmcinT I tested again this morning and was very much stark white. I know we only did it once during, so I knew our chances were slim. It doesn’t make it any easier though..

I’ve had strong symptoms today too. Overly thirsty (I’ve had that for the last 3 days), boobs are killing me, I’ve been really moody and my skin is shocking. I’ve also had a few gastro problems. It’s like my body is teasing me.

When do you think you’ll test? Or will you be waiting for af date?

@PandaLife im just going to wait for af, should be here Thursday/ Friday going by last few cycles. If not here by Sat I’ll prob test though.
the progesterone symptoms either way are such a curse, imagine if we just got af straight away if egg wasn’t fertilised every month, the stress that would take away!!

@SKLM @PandaLife Oh my good god, I don’t know what came over me I was mid pee this evening after work and just stopped, grabbed the wee pot I use, collected the pee and did a test and have a line, I am in shock!!!! It came up straight away, I’m only 11 maybe 12 dpo so strong enough for evening urine. Keep everything crossed this last little chance bean sticks

@SKLM so Normally around 11/12 dpo my RHR starts dropping but it jumped up from 59 yesterday to 67 today and I’ve had a metal taste in my mouth all week, I was trying to not overthink these but I put rhr data into gpt today and it said it was leaning towards pregnancy so that was in my head 😅 my god could this be it! I’d be due on my dads birthday too 🥰
