Anyone else in the middle of TTC baby number 2? It can be lonely at times so thought I would start a thread ❤️

Congrats to everyone with bfps!! So exciting!

Officially entering the TWW but husband went away for work so could only dtd 4 days before ovulation so not so sure about this month.

I’m doing alright. I’m 5 DPO. I’m actually not stressing to much at the moment but I’m sure as the TWW progresses I will be!

sorry you are so anxious. It’s so hard isn’t it, you stress about getting pregnant, then it happens and then the worry just shifts to worrying about the pregnancy. I am sure everything will be fine!
Are you going to have an early scan?

definitely a stressful time! You are right we need stop worrying, I wasn’t like this with my daughter 🫣 I think might get a scan just to
make sure everything is going ok, they are soooo expensive tho😣x

Oh huge congrats to all of the positives that’s so exciting! @chelseaaaaaxxxxits so hard to calm the anxiety in the early stages once you’ve had a loss, just take it day by day and I have my fingers crossed for you.

I am currently 3DPO, dtd every other day in the week before and then every day in the run up including ovulation day so I’ve done what I can I guess! Determined not to test before at least 10dpo but I’ve said that before …

Thank you so much, it’s mad that you stress about not falling pregnant, stress when you are pregnant and then stress forever when they are born🫣😂

@chelseaaaaaxxxxwill you be able to get a scan at your local EPU or will you have to go private? I was lucky with my first, my local EPU had a walk in system where you could get a reassurance scan from 6weeks if you had previously had a miscarriage. I am now in Ireland and so totally unfamiliar with the system here so if (when ) I get pregnant I will have to figure it all out! I am currently 6DPO and determined to hold strong until Monday…!

Oh really! Thats soo good that your doctors did that for you! No I think I would have to have a private one as I’ve never had a miscarriage, I did have an early private scan with my daughter so anything to give me a peace of mind.

Congrats ladies with BFP! I had a private scan every 2 weeks until 20 weeks with my first then we had some complications so had an NHS scan every 1-2 weeks from then on.

I’m struggling to get a positive ovulation test hopefully it’s just not time get as only CD15 and only my first one postpartum. We’ve DTD every day and will continue to do so so should be covered

So I caved and tested at 9dpo and got the starkest white you’ve ever seen. I’m 12dpo today and took another test even though I swore I’d wait until Friday as that’s when AF is due…

Thanks for checking in, AF finally arrived but typically DH will be away during my fertile week this month, so looks like I’m back to waiting for AF to arrive again at the end of the month before we can try.

I had my scan today a lovely little heart beat, 6 weeks today! Due New Year’s Eve x

@SantiagoSister that is SO typical. Life really gets in the way of things sometimes 😭 fingers crossed things will line up a little better next month.

@chelseaaaaaxxxxwow that is so exciting and a New Year’s Eve due date is amazing! So nice to see the heartbeat and that everything is in the right place 🥰 my consultant has booked me in for a scan in a fortnight when I will be 6 weeks too, so nice to have the reassurance!

I think I got my peak today so hoping I’ll be in a similar position in the not too distant future

It is soo nice I agree I was soo anxious but seeing the heartbeat was so lovely to see although the baby is sooo tiny! Good luck with yours keep us updated :)

I have been feeling quite crampy the last day or two which has me very anxious, but no bleeding or spotting. I took a digital clear blue today to try to ease my worries and it said 2-3 weeks which is what it should be atm so that made me feel a bit better. Just trying to not spiral and try to enjoy the time 🙈

hey all, I’m TTC baby #2.

I have irregular cycles and believe I’m quite off on my dates now BUT last weekend I got 2 positive digital clear blues. Taken on different days at different times. ‘Pregnant 1-2 weeks’ I couldn’t believe my eyes as I’ve been getting BFN on strip tests. I have taken a variety of strip tests across different brands since the BFP and all are negatives.

Has anyone experienced this?

I can’t see the odds of getting two separate false positives but I guess you never know. Surely if I was pregnant the strip tests would detect (digital and strips have same sensitivity of 25ml hcg)

Want to be excited but just feel super deflated and concerned I could be having a chemical.

Doing another digital today to see if it remains positive or not.

I appreciate all I can do is watch and wait but it’s so hard. Any advice or wisdom welcome 💔

Fingers crossed for you! Are your strip tests all the same batch? Could they be faulty?
I’d have expected to see something on them within 72 hours of the digital but that won’t happen if they’re expired or faulty

Sorry just seen that you’ve tried different brands! I have no advice unfortunately

Thank you so much. Yes I’ve been expecting positive strip tests since the digital but it’s just happened. Using morning urine too. I can’t find much on similar experiences either so I guess I will have to wait and see! Fingers crossed x
