Hi all. Trying to conceive at 45. I know, unlikely 😂. I have 8 children and so desperately would like one
more. Had a second trimester miscarriage at 44, and looking for one more chance! Thought I saw something super faint on this frer this morning - 8DPO. But also think I’m overthinking it and seeing things? Anyway, mostly just looking for support and maybe find others in same position. Good luck to all!

It’s not rude. OP needs to consider how she would care for her other children if her 9th is severely disabled or indeed if she dies.

Because you've had 8 children the chances of having another are higher than trying for the first time.

Sorry for your loss, and what looks like a negative test. I don't think you'll find others in the same position of having 8 kids and wanting a 9th at age 45. I'd think most 45yo mums of 8 would want a lie down or just to focus on the 8. Even if it does happen, you may desperately want a 10th if the first 8 haven't been enough, so worth getting your head around being happy with your lot or figuring out what else you need apart from another DC to ease that desperation. If it's issues from the miscarriage, which are understandable, have you counselling?

have you considered what happens if you want just one more after 9,10,11? You’re in a bit of a danger zone now being 45. Have you had counselling after your loss?
