Ovulation spotting, please come and talk to me!

I posted before about spotting between periods. I was worried it was my hormones playing up as I have PCOS. However I am now wondering if it was ovulation spotting and would like to know if anyone else has experienced this.

This is cycle 5 of ttc number 2. On Monday and yesterday (CD 11 and 12 of this cycle), I had spotting which was very much like EWCM with tiny streaks of blood in it and only noticable when I wiped after loo (TMI sorry!). I also have sore boobs and slight cramps. I have NEVER had this before. My husband and I have BD quite a lot over the last week, so should cover things IYSWIM

It can't be implantation as I had my period as normal and this is only CD 13. I thought it was a bit early for ovulation but I googled it and it does seem possible. I am going to my GP on Monday and will mention it due to PCOS. Help I am confused!

forgot to say I have a regular cycle 27-29 days (but mostly 28 days)

When do you usually ovulate?

I seem to be having the same. I'm on CD11 and have spotting today. I did have spotting on CD12 & 13 of the cycle I got pg on in January, and I didn't ovulate until CD18 (according to my temps) - which is normal for me.

I'm seeing my GP either tomorrow or Friday, we'll see what he says.

To be honest I don't know exactly when I ovulate. I haven't really been temping or paying much attention to CM. I just try and have lots of sex CD 10-18 as I have a 28 day cycle. However if I have not conceived in the next few months I am going to start paying more attention to my body!

It sounds to me like all of your signs are pointing to you ovulating now or within a few days. Spotting within a few days of ovulation is perfectly normal, and actually considered super fertile. I'm only concerned about my spotting because it seems to happen about a week or so before my ov date. Goodl luck!
