Hi - I am 19 dpo with conception being either 5/6 March and my clear blue digital weeks is still showing 2-3? If I am 5 weeks and 5 days pregnant shouldn’t it be 3+?

I have had so many losses so now feel like i’m losing this baby.

They are very inaccurate

My lone progression so far - no dye stealers either

Just be careful as I had this and it ended up being an ectopic pregnancy, my hormones levels were going up but slowly hence it being stuck on 2-3. Do you have pains in your sides? Any spotting or bleeding?

SnowSnow · 25/03/2026 10:30

I took a very long time to get to 3+ on the tests, I remember thinking I’m 5 weeks something and it wasn’t going up. It eventually did but I can’t remember when and my 2 year old is currently sat on my lap so don’t lose hope. As a PP said they are inaccurate

WhatAMarvelousTune · 25/03/2026 10:32

Like a PP says, they’re not that accurate.

Also implantation occurs in a range, something like 6-10 days after conception. So if you implanted nearer the end of that range, you’d be closer to 5 weeks and just one or two days.

I know from my own experience with losses that this is easier said than done, but if you can, stop testing. The weeks listed, and the strength of the positive line, are not accurate indicators of the health of a pregnancy.

Omg now I am panicking, what did your lines look like? I don’t have any spotting or bleeding but do get the odd cramps/aches 😢. What were your first signs? X

I never got past 2-3 weeks on Clearblue and he turns 2 in a couple of months 😊

Utardelis · 25/03/2026 15:07

I mean this kindly OP step away from the tests. I have seen you making threads daily and unfortunately nothing anyone says is going to put you at ease (I know this from experience) - pregnancy after loss is really really tough.
Your last test is a dye stealer they won’t go any darker. You are pregnant until proven otherwise 😘 if the worry is getting too much maybe speak to your GP and they may be able to offer support

Best of luck xxxx

GoldJules · 25/03/2026 15:20

@hopeandrainbow26 I really feel for you but I agree with @Utardelis, I know it's sooooo hard, but try and stay away from the tests. Unfortunately they won't bring you any peace. Perhaps it might be helpful to get your HCG tested? That's normally no more than £50 (which I absolutely know is not nothing, but it might reassure you? Your test looks very very positive x

Just I didn’t have sickness but with all my pregnancies I had it bad all the way through, had left side cramps but that was because it was in my tube, I had sore breasts and my lines were visible but not super strong. Mine on the clear blue was 2-3 and stayed that way because my hcg levels were rising but not as much as they should have been. I also had a bleed in between too.
